Led by Captain Owen Allain, a Hilton Head native who has spent his entire life fishing these waters, sitting skinny brings 15 years of local fishing expertise and 4 years of professional charter experience. From inshore and flats fishing to creeks and back country, we provide top-tier excursions tailored for anglers of all skill levels. Meet The Captain
Captain Owen Allain is a Hilton Head native, He grew up walking flats, fishing saltwater ponds, and hopping on the skiff to creek fish. He knew from a very young age he wanted to share his passion and guide others on the water, he grew up learning from Captain Trent Malphrus, a local guide and wanted to follow in his footsteps. He went to a outboard mechanic school to learn about fixing and servicing boats to be around them even when the conditions were not right. He used that to build and customize a skiff during high school to get out on the water as much as possible. He then went on to mate on a offshore charter boat and learn more about the fishery the Low country has to offer. He worked alongside a local legend Michael Perry to gather as much offshore techniques as he could in three years. He is now venturing out and starting his own business to continue what he loves.
